About Kerri-Ann Jennings

Kerri-Ann studied figure and landscape painting with Frank Mason at the Art Students League of New York and in Stowe, Vermont. Under his training, Kerri-Ann employed a prismatic palette for several years. Now she uses those pigments—cadmiums, cobalt, ultramarine, phtalos—often without pre-mixing the palette. Prior to that, Kerri-Ann minored in studio art at Georgetown University and participated in summer classes and life drawing sessions at the Art Students League of New York.

She loves Corot, clouds, contrast, vibrant colors. She uses art to absorb herself into a moment. At her most fluent, she finds painting to be an immersive, meditative experience.
